In the Iron Age, how many people used to live in the houses in Biskupin?

There were 100 houses in the fortress with a total of 700–1000 people staying. The area of an average house was 70–90 square metres. Each house was divided into a vestibule (25 %) and a room (75 %). Each house was occupied by a family of 7–10 members. The whole family slept in one single bed. Under the bed, small animals were kept, above the bed, there was a storage place for food, corn, hay, fuel et cetera.
